The WIBternship is HUWIB's fun and educational 10-week fall comp that all undergraduate women must complete for HUWIB membership. During the WIBternship, you will engaged in weekly panels and workshops to hear inspiring presentations from women in different business industries. Additionally, through attending the International Business Convention, working on case studies and completing your own group projects, WIBterns gain in-depth knowledge about HUWIB, the business world and professional skills.


Dress Code

  • Please dress with consideration for all WIBtern panel events; business casual descriptions can be found here.

  • IBC: the dress code is business formal. Examples can be found here and will be reviewed prior to the event.


  • We want to respect our speakers' time, so please arrive promptly at 7:45pm for each session.

  • No laptops or cell phones will be allowed

  • A Q&A session will follow the formal panel

Absence & Make-Up Policy

  • You are required to attend every meeting and stay for the entirety of the programming; attendance will be taken.

  • If for some reason you are unable to attend, please email us and let us know at: Make sure you email us prior to the meeting!

  • You may miss up to 2 sessions, but you will be required to complete a make-up assignment within 3 days of the session.

Make-up Assignments

If you miss any WIBternship panels you will be required to complete a make-up assignment. Each assignment will be emailed to you, and you will have a week after the panel date to submit it.
